Best known as a lyric soprano soloist, Amy is also artistic director of CASTALIA Vocal Consort, which performs music from the Renaissance to Contemporary Avant Garde.

Amy enjoyed a busy career as a soprano in London, singing with virtually all the leading UK vocal ensembles and performing as a soloist with many prominent European orchestras, including The Gabrieli Consort, OAE, Bochum Symphoniker, and Hanover Band.

Amy has a wealth of experience of choral music from the Renaissance through to the Romantic and Modern Periods, though she also has a keen interest in contemporary music, having premiered countless new works with EXAUDI Vocal Ensemble.

Since moving to Australia in 2015, Amy’s career has continued to straddle ensemble and solo singing, and she performs regularly with many of the prominent Australian groups. Amy recently made her solo debut with Pinchgut Opera, and is a Principal Artist with The Song Company.

When she chose to settle in Hazelbrook, Amy was looking to enjoy the Blue Mountains with her husband and young family, whilst still maintaining her professional singing engagements. It is a particular joy to make music locally with Phoenix Choir, drawing from and feeding back the best of what she has learnt performing choral music with leading conductors in Europe and here in Australia.
